Research Associate

Responsibilities

Stephanie Müller is currently working on the project "TECH-TOYS" (DLR/BMBF, duration 2023-2026).
The aim of the project is to develop an AI-based diagnostic technology for the early detection of neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) in infants. The ethical sub-project assesses the development of the TECH-TOY technology from research project to market-ready product. It analyzes the ethical implications of using the TECH-TOY technology both in research and in the clinical context or at home.

As a philosopher, Stephanie is interested in the connection between theoretical and technical problems in medicine and their ethical consequences. In the context of the TECH-TOYS project, she also brings practical experience in guiding and advising university-based, research-driven start-ups to the table.
